artnms asked: Hi! I'm wanting to go to SCAD to take some more undergrad courses after I graduate next month from college. Would you recommend sequential art over just illustration? If I wanted to work in comics or even animation? I saw your portfolio for the career fair and love your work! :)

Thank you! I might be a little biased, but I would definitely recommend Sequential over Illustration if you want to go into comics or animation. The Illustration program here is great, but from what I can tell, it’s definitely not as focused on those things. The Sequential classes also require a ton more drawing in general, which will definitely push you as far as improvement goes. :)

Mostly finished character design for an upcoming Zbrush project. I’ll probably end up changing the color of the T-shirt, since it’s a little too close to his skin color, and giving the clothing in general a bit more wear and tear.
